From the moment they march into the Opening Ceremony with their delegation at the kickoff of JCC Maccabi, teens know they are in for something special.
At JCC Maccabi, teens 13-17 will feel the magic of the week-long competition along with program highlights that include:
- Community Service
- Global Jewish Connections
- HangTime with games and activities led by Israeli Staff
- Opening Ceremonies parade at a big arena for Spectators to enjoy
- Evening Events at local attractions
- 6 Midot (values) - Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), Kavod (respect), Rina (joy), Ga'ava (pride), Lev Tov (big hearted), and Amiut Yehudit (Jewish peoplehood)
- Teens pick one sport to compete in during the week (morning and afternoon games with playoffs for Wednesday-Thursday)
- Teens stay in houses of Jewish families during the week
- Secondary Sport options on Thursday if competition is completed
