Stacey Alexander

Stacey is a certified personal trainer through the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America. She also is a group fitness instructor of all types of class including Zumba and Kickboxing. Stacey has been in the fitness profession for 5 years and has a doctorate in School Psychology. She became interested in fitness, because she was once overweight and unfit. Stacey used the tools she learned in personal training to make healthy changes. Stacey’s background and experiences have given her the unique perspective to understand her clients and help them achieve their goals. In training sessions, Stacey focuses on weight loss, strength training and stamina. She has worked with clients with injuries and has adapted the exercise routine to make sure they see result without further injury.
Chris Walsh

Chris is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. An Albany native, he is a graduate of the State University of New York, Empire State College; and the Sage College of Albany.
Through personal experience and inquiry, he has developed an approach to fitness and well-being that emphasizes a comprehensive strength and conditioning program personalized to each client’s abilities and ambitions.
For those new to a formal exercise regime—as well as for those returning to regular exercise—the most difficult step is often the first one. If a client is motivated enough to take that initial step, Chris believes, as a trainer, it is his responsibility to provide the tools and encouragement required to maintain that early level of commitment.
Clayton Rosen

Clayton is a personal trainer and a group fitness instructor certified through the American Council on Exercise. Spending many years in the fitness field, both personally and professionally, has given Clayton the knowledge and ability to combine many fitness modalities to create specialized workout plans. Each plan is blended to meet the needs of clients of any age and ability level. Clayton believes in taking a safe, effective and rapid approach towards fitness results. Whether your goal is to exercise for health and longevity, spice up your current workout plan, lose or gain weight, or tone your muscles, Clayton can help you achieve and maintain those goals.

Biography
Derrick first started his career with the Capital District YMCA in 2002 at the Glenville Branch as the Program Director. As Program Director he oversaw youth, teen, and family programming as well as the summer day camp. In 2006 Derrick then transitioned to the Wellness Director at the Guilderland YMCA Branch. While at Guilderland he oversaw the Wellness department including the fitness center, group exercise programming, wellness programming as well as the branches 5k and the Pine Bush Triathlon. After two years at Guilderland, Derrick left the YMCA to oversee a local Corporate Fitness Center. From 2008-2020 he oversaw daily operations including, staff development, business planning, site development, site budgeting, membership, group exercise, special events, 5-10k running events, summer recreational leagues, and much more.
Certifications and Degrees
Derrick graduated from SUNY Cortland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies. Derrick holds many fitness certifications including, American Council on Exercise Personal Training, Sports Conditioning, Orthopedic Exercise Specialist, Spinning, Triathlon Coaching, and he is a Certified Speed & Agility Coach. Over the years Derrick has coached people from everything like doing their first 5k up to competing in Ironman events. Derrick says the best part of my job is “helping people reach their goal no matter what it may be”.
